Run Army’s mission is to promote health, fitness and wellbeing through running support programs and a nation-wide event; in order to fulfil our commitment to the wellbeing of our people and the community. We have now moved into a new era, joining forces with Queensland’s Police, Fire and Ambulance services to create one super-sized community event. Our combined efforts will unite all those who serve the community in uniform as we collectively strive for health and wellbeing and care for our veterans and their families. 

Run Army has grown to become a signature event on the Brisbane Running Calendar, with a unique course taking in both banks of the Brisbane River and many iconic landmarks which have special meaning to the services. Run Army has a distinctive feel with the route lined by vehicles and personnel from the four services, while in the skies helicopters keep watch on the expected 10,000 runners. The impressive line-up of assets highlights the unrivalled partnership of serving members, veterans and families and allows the community to actively engage with them on the day as they share the run and festivities.
