Dig out your best winter festival fits and round up the group chat because it's that time of year --- your Splendour In The Grass 2023 line-up is here.

Our party appetites were whet with the news that Lizzo will be gracing the stage but our festival tummies have been rumbling ever since. Prepare to feast your eyes on a smorgasbord of international and local talent that will be pulling up to the North Byron Parklands for the 21st edition of Splendour In The Grass.

Sharing the headliner duties over the weekend is none other than Sydney's prodigal son, Flume. He'll be celebrating his self-titled debut album --- which turns 10 in June --- with an exclusive performance on the festival's main stage.

It's also just nudged over a decade since Flume first showed his face at Splendour In The Grass (in a 1.10pm slot at the Mix Up tent, no less) so it's definitely a bit of a full circle moment for him.

Joining them under the big lights of the Amphitheatre are the kings of foot-stomping indie folk and 2009 Hottest 100 winners --- Mumford & Sons.

It's been a busy 15-odd years for the Londoners, with Grammy Awards, Brit Awards, number one albums and self-curated festivals on their resume. Now they're locked in for an exclusive return to the Byron Bay shire for the first time since 2013, hot off an appearance at Lollapalooza Stockholm. They're booked *and* busy!

That's just a mere taste of the buffet of bops we'll be indulging in over that long weekend in July. Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be coming back for a do-over after cancelling last year to due health reasons. Sly Withers, Cub Sport, MAY-A, Ruel, Luen and Hooligan Hefs will also be returning to the festival after their appearances were nixed following the cancellation of Day One's programming last year.

Update 24 May 2023: Slowthai has been removed from the Splendour In The Grass line-up, following charges of sexual assault in the UK. He was scheduled to perform on the Friday of the festival but has since been scrubbed from the festival's website and an updated poster shared to Facebook.

Update 25 May 2023: US band Rainbow Kitten Surprise has withdrawn from Splendour in the Grass, and their upcoming Australian tour dates. In a statement on Instagram, the band cited health reasons for the cancellation.

"One of our members is in a medical crisis," the band said.

"Our band has come to the decision to put our health as our only priority right now."

Update 29 June 2023: Following the exit of Lewis Capaldi from the line-up due to health reasons, Splendour has confirmed that Ocean Alley will be stepping in to heat up the Amphitheatre stage on the Friday evening.

The festival also announced Thelma Plum and an exclusive performance from Danny Brown will replace Rainbow Kitten Surprise and slowthai.

You can get into full planning mode now too, with all the set times and festival maps now live on the Splendour website.

Update 5 July 2023: Great news friends, your Splendour line-up has expanded again with our very own Unearthed competition winners!

The national winner is WA's very own DICE, who have been zooming on the up since their breakout back in 2021. After selling out headline hows all over the country, it's only natural to slot them in on the Splendour stage.

Looking locally, it's Northern Rivers' beloved GIMMY who will be getting us up and about with her infectious grooves.

So without further ado, here is your Splendour In The Grass 2023 line-up and all the important nitty gritty details.

As always with Splendour, the music is merely one course in the long weekend's delicious degustation --- faves like The Forest, The Forum, The Comedy Club, the Science Tent, World Stage, Global Village and more will be back in action once again.

Tickets are went sale from 9am AEST Friday 14 April and a new flexible pricing model means the earlier you grab tickets, the cheaper they'll be. Check out the festival's website for more information.

Splendour In The Grass will be coming back after last year's festival was marred with issues --- from cancelling Friday's main stage performances, chaotic bus queues, briefly (and understandably) rebranding to "Splendour In the Mud" and multiple cases of meningococcal in the weeks after the event ended.

Organisers apologised for the festival's response to the weather event and have committed to working on improving the North Byron Parklands, including better drainage and reviewing the festival's traffic management plan.
